Introduction Our client is a small animal hospital that is hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. With over 30 years of trusted service within the community, the practice has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary care while maintaining a feline-focused approach. As the hospital continues its evolution into a full-service dog and cat facility, this opportunity offers the chance to join a growing practice that combines its established feline expertise with an expanding range of services for canine patients. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing the full scope of general practice services, including preventative care, dentistry, diagnostics, and soft tissue surgery. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse small animal caseload while contributing to the continued growth of the hospital's canine services alongside its established feline patient base. Veterinarians will be expected to deliver high standards of patient care, build strong client relationships, and collaborate closely with the support team to ensure positive outcomes for patients. Specific hours are to be discussed. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable managing a broad range of medical and surgical cases within a progressive and evolving practice environment. Practice Details The hospital provides a full scope of GP services within a well-equipped clinical environment designed to support comprehensive patient care. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including but not limited to digital x-ray, dental radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, cold laser therapy equipment, surgical laser technology, and additional advanced clinical tools. These resources support efficient diagnostics, treatment planning, dentistry, and surgical procedures across a wide variety of cases. While maintaining its strong feline heritage, the practice continues to expand its capabilities as a full-service dog and cat hospital, providing a broad range of veterinary services to the community. In addition to veterinary care, the hospital also offers cat boarding services. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, while remaining closed on Sundays.
