Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with orthopedic focus and Medical Surgical/Telemetry overflow
• Manage and administer cardiac drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone as required
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6–1:7 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
• Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and cardiac oversight
• Complete required pre-start modules prior to assignment begin date

Required Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license required at time of submission (pending license may be considered)
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Proficiency with cardiac drips (Cardizem, Tridil, Amiodarone)
• Permanent address must be at least 90 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred; highly experienced first-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Experience working in large healthcare facilities
