Job Description A Quality Inspector is responsible for completing the following duties: Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conduct visual and measurement tests, reject and return unacceptable materials Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conduct visual and measurement tests, communicate required adjustments to the Production Supervisor Approve finished products by confirming specifications, return products for re-work and confirm re-work Document inspection results by completing reports and logs Summarize re-work and waste, input all data into a Quality Database Maintain measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements; schedule repair and/or maintenance as needed Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures and complying with legal regulations Expand job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications Other duties as assigned Qualifications Blueprint reading skills Experience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers and other measuring instruments Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent listening skills Comfortable with computers Strong organization skills Exercise effective time management skills Basic Math skills Analytical thinking skills Strong documentation skills One to two years quality inspection experience Expectations of Employees Embrace Core Values: Serving Others, High Integrity, Strong Work Ethic, Culture of Opportunity & Long-Term Relationships Utmost attention to safety Good attendance and punctuality High attention to detail Traits of Successful Employees Positive Attitude Self-motivated independent worker Desire to build long term relationships Ability to complete tasks according to planned schedule Willingness to help out where needed Employee Benefits Weekly paycheck Boot reimbursements up to $125 Medical insurance - Covers 75% of premiums Dental and vision insurance Company paid life insurance 401K retirement account with 5% company match On the spot bonuses up to $100 Location: 3330 E 23rd Street, Columbus, NE 68601 #J-18808-Ljbffr
