About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Quality to join their team. The successful candidate will be a senior leader with a Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 7-10 years' of progressive leadership experience in healthcare quality. The role is pivotal in ensuring the execution and operational leadership of quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, risk management, and clinical contract performance within the organization. Key responsibilities include leading the implementation of quality and patient safety strategies, driving performance improvement initiatives, and utilizing data analytics to identify trends and evidence-based interventions. The VP will also be responsible for managing day-to-day clinical and regulatory risk activities, overseeing incident reporting systems, and ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements. Candidates for the Vice President of Quality position at the company should have a strong background in healthcare quality, with experience in LTCH, acute care, or post-acute settings. Essential skills include expertise in regulatory and accreditation, data-driven performance improvement, and a proven track record in risk management and patient safety. The role requires a leader who can effectively collaborate with clinical, operational, and medical staff, and who is adept at change management and engaging physicians in quality initiatives.
