We’re Looking for an Assistant Manager to Join Our Team As an Assistant Manager at Zaxby’s, you’ll be a key leader, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. If you’re hardworking, enthusiastic, and ready to take on a leadership role, we want to hear from you! Flexible hours and weekend availability are required. Restaurant experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and a willingness to grow are what matter most. Job Responsibilities: As an Assistant Manager, you’ll be expected to: Lead by Example : Manage and motivate the team to provide outstanding service to every guest, every time. Operational Excellence : Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and quality across the restaurant. Training & Development : Support the development of your team through hands-on training and ongoing coaching. Guest Experience : Ensure every guest has a positive experience, from greeting them at the door to thanking them as they leave. Staff Management : Supervise, schedule, and develop the team, ensuring they’re meeting performance and guest service standards. Quality Control : Maintain Zaxby’s high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety. Inventory & Cost Management : Oversee inventory, manage food costs, and monitor labor expenses. Financial Accuracy : Ensure accurate cash handling, including balancing cash drawers and credit card transactions. Facility Maintenance : Keep the restaurant clean and welcoming, inside and out. Ensure all equipment is in good working order. Requirements: Age : Must be 18 years or older. Experience : Restaurant management experience preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn is just as important! Availability : Flexible schedule required; night and weekend shifts are part of the role. Leadership : Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively and inspire others to deliver exceptional results. Physical Requirements : You should be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
