The position is based in Pittsburgh, PA.Mission:We are seeking an engaged and curious Senior Linux Systems Engineer. We need you to help us foster happy engineers delivering quality software at a high rate of speed resulting in delighted customers.Our focus areas include:• Containerization and virtualization• Development, test, and production environments• Continuous delivery• Tools• Rich web application development for our intranet• Process evolution• Hardware designOur stakeholders include:• Customers• Software engineers• Test engineers• Project teams• Corporate IT, including cyber securityOur technology stack is always evolving. We currently use:• Jenkins for CI/CD• Git for revision control• VMWare, KVM, QEMU for virtualization, Docker and Podman for containerization• Python and bash for various automation tasks• Django for internal web application developmentRequired Skills/Experience:Minimum of 7 years of current 'hands-on' experience in Linux Systems Engineering/Administration.
