Details CV Thoracic Transplant ICU unit within a hospital setting Cares for both cardiac medical ICU patients and Cardiac/Thoracic/Vascular Surgery ICU patients Patient ratio of 2:1, including patients on devices such as Impella, IABP, LVAD, and NxStage Night shift: 19:00–07:30 13‑week contract Requirements Active IN or Compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) NIH Certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years) Minimum 2 years of CVICU nursing experience Proficiency caring for both cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients Impella, IABP, and LVAD experience required; NxStage experience preferred Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address Two professional references required Copy of Driver's License required for consideration License verification/Nursys required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information Provide ICU-level nursing care to cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery patients Local candidates are welcome to apply; however, a radius rule applies that may affect the pay rate — contact your recruiter for details COVID vaccination is not required for this position American Traveler Job ID #P-712781.
