Quest Camp Counselor

Assignment: 30 - 40 hours per week. All shifts will be between 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. June 16, 2026 - August 19, 2026. Starting wage range: Starting at $19.57/hr. Primary Objective of Positions: To plan, implement, and supervise theme-based summer day camp program for middle school children. To ensure a safe and fun atmosphere for all participants. Job Responsibilities: Help plan enriching curriculum and program goals for 10 one-week programs. Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities consistent with class goals. Manage classroom, outdoor activities, and field trips; supervise and provide guidance for participants. Participate in all planned activities. Provide a safe, caring, fun environment for children. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Job Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. degree in education, child development, recreation, or a related field. Evidence of successful experience working with middle school aged students. Evidence of successful program leadership. Evidence of positive interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to children and adults. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
