You will work onsite with one of two available positions at Hebron High School:

• Math Resource Teacher (SPED Cert and Math Cert required)
• Academic Vocational Life Skills Teacher (SPED Cert and Core Content required; EC-6 accepted)

To be successful in this position, you should have:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification (SPED Cert)
• Appropriate subject certification based on your preferred assignment (Math Cert for Math Resource Teacher; Core Content for Life Skills Teacher, EC-6 accepted)
• Previous experience working with special education students, preferably in a high school setting
• Strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills
• Passion for working with diverse learning needs and supporting student success

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering specialized instruction and support per individual education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborating with general education teachers, staff, and families
• Adapting curriculum and materials to meet a range of abilities
• Maintaining accurate records and progress reports
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student-centered planning
