Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
Previous experience teaching students with diverse abilities
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
Skill in adapting curriculum and instructional strategies
Comfortable collaborating with general education teachers and support staff
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, modify, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students
Deliver engaging lessons tailored to a range of learning needs
Use data-driven approaches to assess student progress and adjust instruction
Foster an atmosphere that supports students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic growth
Partner closely with families, support personnel, and administrators
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations and district policies
