Group Summary The Magna Exteriors portfolio includes products such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems, and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck, and other industrial markets. Job Responsibilities Analyzes customer needs for automated information. Writes code to meet customer needs. Provides direction to outside programmers and software suppliers. Communicates effectively with internal and external customers. Participates in evaluation of new business-related software. Manages upgrades to existing software programs. Maintains an acceptable attendance record. Assists in resolution of computer system problems (hardware or software) as needed. Maintains a clean and safe work area. Participates in department meetings. Documents activities as required. Submits cost reduction and innovation ideas. Required: Programming experience in a professional setting. Preferred: Experience with Visual Basic, Progress, Windows XP/7, Lotus Notes; experience leading to knowledge of manufacturing systems; experience with wireless devices (scanners, printers, etc.). Must have good problem solving skills, math skills, and computer skills. Must work well with others and have strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain composure in stressful situations. Strong understanding of business systems. Required: B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, MIS or equivalent. Benefits Pay Rate: $70,000 - $85,000 Customizable insurance plans starting at 30 days.
