Data Support Specialist 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1325 JOB SUMMARY : Rochester Midland Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Support Specialist to assist with customer data management and record maintenance. This temporary role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with data, communicating with customers, and ensuring accuracy across systems. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Gather and input customer information into internal systems Contact customers via phone to obtain missing or updated information Research and collect relevant information from customer websites Maintain and update customer records in Excel and the company’s ERP system Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all data entered EDUCATION/ SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION: SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and basic data management Strong verbal and written communication skills Customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with customers High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Basic research and problem-solving abilities COMPETENCIES: Ability to navigate ambiguity Business acumen / professional Priority management Effective communication and interpersonal skills Problem Solving PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
