Lead School Age Teacher

A Child's Place of Volo is a licensed childcare center seeking Full-time Teachers for our School Age Program.  To be  QUALIFIED for this position, we require some higher education in ECE or Elementary Ed. Required Shift:  Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm Compensation: $19 - $20/hr. based on education and experience Main Job Responsibilities: 

• Lead all aspects of the camp program in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
• Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
