Cath Lab Tech ( Respiratory Therapist, ARRT, Surgical Tech)
Infirmary Health
Cardiovascular Technician
Performs a variety of technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for cardiovascular patients according to established standards and practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
One of the following:
- Graduate from a Radiologic Technology program
- Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Technician Program
- Graduate from a Surgical Technology program
- Graduate from a Cardiovascular Technology program
Licensure, Registration, Certification
BLS
One of the following:
ARRT: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography
OR
Respiratory Therapist: Registered as RRT by National Board for Respiratory care (NBRC) for Respiratory Therapists
OR
Surgical Tech:
One of the following:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) from National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
OR
Cardiovascular Tech: Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
