Licensed 1:1 Assistive Technology Specialist (AT) - Moreno Valley, CA

This full-time, year-round position seeks a Licensed Assistive Technology Specialist to support students across all grade levels-K-5, 6-8, and 9-12-in an educational setting. The role requires collaboration with Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI) and direct work with students on a 1:1 basis. The position is based in Moreno Valley, CA.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistive technology support to students with diverse learning needs in grades K-12
• Transcribe Braille materials for both TVIs and students to facilitate accessible learning
• Collaborate with educational staff to tailor technology solutions that enhance student learning
• Deliver individualized support on a one-on-one basis, ensuring effective use of assistive devices
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in assistive technology

Qualifications:

• Valid license in related field of Assistive Technology or special education
• Experience working with K-12 students, ideally within grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
• Proficiency in Braille transcription and assistive technology tools
• Strong understanding of adaptive technology applications in educational environments
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
