Direct Support Professional (DSP)At Covenant Case Management Services (CCMS), we believe in helping others Thrive with Purpose. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Living Support and Respite care for an individual with intellectual disabilities in the Arden, NC area. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering independence, promoting community inclusion, and ensuring a safe, supportive, and positive environment both in the home and in the community.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1-on-1 support, companionship, and daily living assistance.Assist with personal care, daily life skills, meal preparation, and medication administration as needed.Facilitate community integration and personal goals while maintaining a safe environment.Maintain a warm, encouraging, and supportive atmosphere.Keep accurate, timely service documentation in accordance with agency policies.QualificationsRequired: High school diploma or equivalent.Required: Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance.Required: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.Experience supporting individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is preferred.Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.A genuinely compassionate, patient, and heart-centered approach to care.Position Details & BenefitsLocation: Arden, NCPay Rate: $17.50 / hourSchedule: Contract | 28 hours/week (Flexible schedule based on availability)Work Environment: Supportive, mission-driven team culture focused on making a real differenceEqual Employment Opportunity StatementCovenant Case Management Services actively encourages applications from individuals of all backgrounds and lived experiences.
