Patient Care Technician (PCT) – Urgent Care

Location: New Hope, MN
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: October 26, 2026
FTE: 0.9
Pay: $19.76–$29.64/hr, based on experience
Schedule: Varied day and evening shifts, 7:45 AM–8:15 PM or 8:00 AM–8:30 PM
Weekends: Required based on department rotation
On-Call: None

Position Overview

The Patient Care Technician provides supportive, compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families under the direction of the healthcare team. This role also helps manage patient flow and support daily clinic operations.

Schedule Details

Week 1: Friday, Saturday, Sunday — 7:45 AM–8:15 PM
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday — 8:00 AM–8:30 PM
Week 3: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday — 8:00 AM–8:30 PM
Week 4: Friday, Saturday, Sunday — 7:45 AM–8:15 PM
Week 5: Tuesday — 8:00 AM–8:30 PM; Thursday — 7:45 AM–8:15 PM; Friday — 8:00 AM–8:30 PM
Week 6: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday — 7:45 AM–8:15 PM

Schedule may change based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive and compassionate care to patients and families.
• Assist the healthcare team with patient care and clinic operations.
• Help manage patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Support high-quality care while following established clinical procedures and safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and team members.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an EMT program required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• National or state EMT certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Clinical Technician in a clinic or hospital setting required.
• Emergency Department experience preferred.
