Local Contract Nurse RN - Med Surg - $53-59 per hour

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Med Surg

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days, nights
• Employment Type: Local Contract

• Number of Beds : 30 (when opened fully in March/April). Currently at 18 withrenovations in process.
• Patient Ratios : 6-7:1
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Team nursing approach with techs on the unit, US on day shift and we strive to have a free Charge Nurse to support the team.
• Type of equipment : regular for Med Surg
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: must work 4 weekend shifts every 4-week scheduling period
• Floating policy: would be required to float to like units as the needs dictate
• Patient Experience requirements: Must perform hourly safety rounds and perform bedside shift report with the patient

Certifications Required: BLS & NIH Stroke Scale (can be obtained here) Days or Nights available 48 hours also available
