Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Housing Specialist. In this role, you will work with a team of staff committed to the provision of affordable housing and the success of program participants while delivering exceptional customer service every step of the way.

Pay: $20.00/hr.


Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Qualities Required:

• Excellent communication, both oral and written
• Demonstrated ability to understand and comply with mandated regulations
• Professional and organized
• Detail-Oriented
• Computer Proficient
• Dependable
• Upbeat/positive attitude
• Able to work in a fast paced work environment
• Previous customer service experience is required

Responsibilities include:

• Determine initial & ongoing eligibility
• Welcome and support applicants through the process
• Confidently explain and administer program requirements
• Read, understand, and comply with federal policies and procedures, and explain them to applicants and participants
• Maintain relationships with community-based organizations, staff, and landlords
• Send correspondence to tenants and landlords
• Accurately maintain caseload files
• Perform other duties as assigned
