LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Supervise personnel delivering patient care within assigned team.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2 to 5 years of nursing experience required.
- Must have current ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years recent Telemetry/LTAC experience in a hospital setting.
- Valid Indiana or multi-state compact RN license is required.
