Home Visitor, Project HOPES Program (Eagle Pass, TX)

SCAN#39;s Project HOPES (Healthy Outcomes through Prevention and Early Start) program is committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect through education and early intervention in Maverick County. The Project HOPES program education and support to caregivers of children 0 to 5 years old and expecting parents.

•Establishes and maintains a trusting and professional working relationship with families by providing regular contact.

•Utilizes the SafeCare curriculum to provide parenting education sessions to expectant parents and/or caregivers of young children (0 to 5 years) in their homes to prevent child abuse and neglect, create a positive relationship between caregivers and their children, and provide family support.

• Provide case management, resources and referrals, basic needs support and/or other support services to families.

• Documents all services provided and maintains accurate participant charts.
• Administers data collection instruments and records data collected.

•Obtains and maintains certification in providing SafeCare curriculum.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Resourceful problem solver who takes initiative.
• Ability to multi-task while managing multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently as well as to be a contributing team member.
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office 365.

Salary: $20.20 to $21.16 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
