Work Environment\n

Our remote work setting provides flexibility and the opportunity to deliver care via telehealth, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of their homes or your chosen environment. You'll work standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as required. With a focus on collaboration, our telehealth model supports seamless communication with the geriatric psychiatry team, fostering a communal approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that cater specifically to the complexities of aging clients, recognizing both psychological and physical health factors.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans, considering cognitive changes, social factors, and unique patient histories.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including individual and family therapy, to effectively address a range of psychiatric conditions affecting elderly individuals.

• Work closely with our geriatric psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and holistic mental health care.

• Provide crisis intervention services for elderly patients experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring swift and effective support.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, potential treatment paths, and available community resources to enhance understanding and engagement.

• Maintain detailed and confidential electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development to stay knowledgeable about advancements in geriatric psychiatry.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• Demonstrated understanding of geriatric mental health disorders, with a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport with elderly clients and their families.

• Proficient in electronic health record systems and adept at utilizing technology for remote therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
