Registered Nurse – Surgical Services

Schedule: Days

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Unencumbered RN License in Colorado or Compact State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within six (6) months of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within six (6) months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within one (1) year of hire.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred but required for call positions.
• Minimum of two (2) years hospital nursing experience, preferred.
• Previous OR experience, preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on patient assessment.
• Monitor and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care.
• Evaluate the learning needs of patients and their families.
• Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel effectively.
• Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions.

Compliance / Notes: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Employee health meeting is required.
