TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Ortho RN in Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: None specified Description: Unit Notes: Radius rule is 100 miles. Will accept candidates from 50-100 miles. No local candidates within 50 miles. Immediate start required due to last-minute cancellations. The unit has 30 beds, with remote telemetry. Patients only have telemetry if ordered. Telemetry is monitored 24/7. IV drips for Heparin only. No cardiac drips are administered. Patient population includes: All fractures. All kidney stones. All urology surgeries, such as TURP, TURBT, prostatectomy, and nephrectomy. Patients with hematuria and retention. Spinal surgeries, including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar procedures. Post-operative day 1 craniotomies and burr holes (ICU for the first 24 hours). Total joint surgeries, including revisions and removals with spacers placed. Post-operative outpatient gynecological surgeries. Any trauma patients with fractures. Patients requiring BiPAP support. Medical/surgical overflow. Cancellation policy applies: Client may cancel up to 2 shifts per assignment less than 13 weeks. Up to 3 shifts can be canceled per assignment of 13 weeks or longer. Charting system in use is Cerner.
