We are interested in hiring an Office Assistant for an independent Internal Medicine practice in New Haven, CT. The office is open Monday through Thursday. The job hours are 9:30AM to 6:00 PM.
The job involves answering the phone, scheduling patients, registering patients when they arrive and bring them to the exam rooms. The job also involves making referrals and scheduling radiology appointments. In the office lab samples need to be processed to be sent to the lab. We also will need help getting heights and weights on patients.
Experience or some medical assistant training would be helpful, but we are willing provide on the job training.
