TW Metals embraces opportunity and growth for our employees.TW Metals is an O'Neal Industries affiliate company, the largest family-owned metals service center network in the United States.Operations employee with a general focus on all operations activities.Key tasks may include:Material Handling & Staging: Safely prepare, stage, and organize materials for distribution, including deburring, packing, receiving, and shipping.Order Fulfillment: Pull materials from stock and accurately fill sales orders.Verification & Documentation: Confirm material specifications, quality, quantity, dimensions, and tolerances; record information in ERP system or job tickets.Machine Operation: Operate cutting equipment such as Chop Saw, Band Saw, Plate Saw, Shear Machine, Waterjet, and Laser Machine to process materials per work orders.Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment (forklift, side loader, Combilift, overhead crane and order pickers) to move and stage materials.Quality & Safety: Follow all safety protocols and maintain quality standards during material handling and machine operation. Maintains a clean and well organized work area.General Operations Support: Assist with department clean-up, routine equipment checks, and other tasks to ensure smooth workflow.Qualifications:Experience: 1–3 months of related experience or training required.Equipment & Machine Skills: Ability to learn and safely operate powered industrial equipment and cutting equipment.Measurement Skills: Proficient in reading tape measures, micrometers, and other measuring devices.Math Skills: Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Technical Skills: Ability to learn and navigate an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.Problem-Solving: Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and apply logical problem-solving skills.Physical Demands:Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, and kneel as required throughout the shift.Frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs with assistance while following all safety guidance.Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception, with or without corrective lenses.Work in a warehouse setting with moving equipment, varying temperatures, dust, and noise.PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe shoes are required on a continuous basis, or as defined by the role needs or safety guidelines.We offer a full comprehensive benefits program, which includes: medical, dental, vision, company paid life insurance, short and long-term disability, paid vacation, PTO, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, full uniform and boot allowance, among other competitive benefits.TW Metals, LLC. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
