About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Float Pool provides direct care to a variety of complex patients, focusing on achieving desired health outcomes. Highlights Location: Edison, NJ Schedule: Per Diem, Nights What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions. Communicate and coordinate the plan of care with the healthcare team. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and colleagues. Implement age and disease-specific care in a timely manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: 6+ months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program Licenses & Certifications: Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible #J-18808-Ljbffr IntelliResume
