Growing together.As a per diem, nonexempt Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.Primary Responsibilities:Review, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure appropriateness, safety, and accuracyProvide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoringCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize medication regimens for hospitalized patientsMonitor patient outcomes and medication safety, identifying and preventing adverse drug eventsSupervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring efficient and compliant workflowEnsure regulatory and accreditation compliance, including Joint Commission, state, and federal requirementsLocation: Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is a 120-bed hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona, specializing in mental health services and substance use treatment for teens and adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co-occurring addictions.Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will provide coverage to cover PTO, weekends and holidays as needed. There are no regularly scheduled hours for this position.About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 6:30am-9:30pm. Saturday and Sunday hours 8am-4:30pm. The pharmacy utilizes Omnicell and Cerner including E-Mar and CPOE.You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:BS or PharmD from an accredited School of PharmacyCurrent Arizona Pharmacist license in good standingExperience using MS Office and pharmacy information systemsDemonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work settingDemonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concernsPreferred Qualification:Experience in an inpatient hospital environmentExperience in mental health and/or substance abuse disordersPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment.
