They will receive training and mentorship with the opportunity to assume increasing responsibility and, ultimately, a leadership role within the Trust & Estate Administration Department.

$48, 000 - $70,000 yearly

The responsibilities of this position will be:

• To assist attorneys with all aspects of trust and estate administration, more specifically, the preparation and filing of inventories and accountings; real estate deeds; business transfer documents; certificates of trust; pleadings pertaining to estate and trust administration; and all other documents related to probate and trust administration matters.

• The successful candidate must be able to work with the Commissioners of Accounts, their auditors, and court clerks as needed, as well as manage a busy calendar, including deadlines, suspense dates, and court-related timelines.

• There will be daily interaction with clients, financial advisors, and others involved in administration.

• We are seeking a candidate with at least one year of experience, preferably as a Trust and Estate Administration Paralegal; however, we are also open to speaking with experienced Paralegals or Legal Assistants who have worked in a transactional law firm and are interested in developing their expertise in trusts and estates.

• Candidates with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience supporting attorneys in a transactional practice are encouraged to apply.
