Duck Creek Business Analyst
Location: Princeton, New Jersey
Minimum 8+ years of Property & Casualty insurance experience with strong Duck Creek Policy expertise to advise stakeholders on solution options, risks, and trade-offs.
Lead requirements analysis for Duck Creek Policy implementations covering product setup, rating, underwriting rules, forms, and policy transactions.
Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Duck Creek Policy capabilities.
Act as functional SME for Policy lifecycle including New Business, Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations, and Rewrites.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate solution design and implementation.
Drive backlog refinement and story mapping ensuring clarity, sizing, and sprint readiness.
Provide guidance on configuration vs customization within Duck Creek Policy aligned with best practices.
Support UAT planning and execution including test scenario creation, defect triage, and business sign-off.
Perform gap analysis and impact assessment for new products, regulatory changes, and system enhancements.
Ensure traceability across business requirements, user stories, test cases, and delivered functionality.
Review and analyze user needs to create system solutions aligned with business strategy.
Document requirements and user stories defining scope and system specifications for implementation.
Develop functional specifications describing system behavior and required features.
