Requirements:

The small equipment technician at a McDonald's restaurant organization is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing restaurant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment according to company schedules.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including grills, fryers, toasters, refrigerators and freezers, ice machine, beverage and McCafe equipment, HVAC systems, exhaust hoods and ventilation systems, small kitchen appliances and tools.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs within skill level and company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris.
