Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery is responsible for providing comprehensive care during the antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum stages. The RN will perform cervical exams, manage antepartum and labor patients, administer amnio infusions and epidurals, and monitor fetal well-being. The role requires circulating in C-sections and conducting post-partum care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cervical exams and manage labor processes
• Administer amnio infusions, epidurals, and Pitocin
• Monitor fetal health using fetal monitoring technology
• Circulate during C-sections and assist with deliveries
• Manage post-partum care from transition to discharge

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, fetal monitoring
• Ability to conduct APGAR evaluations and provide breastfeeding support
• Familiarity with Epic EMR is strongly preferred
