Work Environment

This fully remote role allows counselors to engage with clients in a comfortable and flexible setting, supported by a collaborative team of mental health professionals. While our main operations are conducted online, our outpatient offices in Syracuse serve as a hub for team meetings, training, and additional resources. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and formulate relevant treatment goals.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that reflect individualized goals and are regularly evaluated for effectiveness.
• Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet clients' needs.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary therapy team to ensure integrated care and consistent communication about clients’ progress.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records following all legal and ethical guidelines while ensuring best practices in documentation.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision, engage in case conferences, and pursue professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
• A master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience in conducting both individual and group therapy, equipping you with the skills to cater to the needs of various clients.
• Proficiency in evidence-based techniques that effectively address an array of mental health conditions, ensuring optimal client outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills that allow you to communicate effectively and build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and empathetic interactions with clients and colleagues.
• A commitment to ethical standards and safeguarding the confidentiality of all client information.

Preferred Experience

While a master's degree is the minimum educational requirement, candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities (such as CBT, DBT, EMDR) or experience working with specific populations (such as adolescents or veterans) are highly valued. Experience in telehealth counseling practices is also a plus, as we often utilize video conferencing tools to deliver care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
