Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to patients throughout the childbirth process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in postpartum and mother/baby care, with a focus on supporting natural birth experiences and ensuring patient safety. Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients from infancy through adulthood, tailored to individual developmental needs.
- Utilize knowledge of obstetric and neonatal care to support labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother/baby needs.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Comply with all clinical protocols, standards of practice, and safety regulations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education and emotional support during labor and postpartum.
- Hold a valid New Hampshire RN license or Compact State license.
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Proven postpartum and mother/baby care experience.
- Epic EMR experience required.
- BLS certification through AHA (active).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification active within the past 3 years.
- Own a reliable vehicle, as travel is required.
- Ability to adhere to all compliance deadlines and documentation standards.
