Position: Sales Representative & Trainer

Guardian Business Group is expanding, and we are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative & Trainer to join our team. This role is designed for an energetic professional who is passionate about developing sales representatives and mentoring future leaders. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging training programs for sales representatives, focusing on foundational sales skills and leadership development.
• Conduct interactive training sessions (in-person and virtual) to ensure participants gain practical, real-world experience.
• Provide personalized coaching and mentorship to support representatives in achieving their career goals.
• Identify high-potential individuals and create tailored development plans to prepare them for leadership roles.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and motivating learning environment.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously enhance training.
• Learn and master our products/services, sales processes, and CRM tools.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring of new sales team members.
• Actively build your own book of business through B2B field sales.
• Guide and coach team members to refine their sales techniques.
• Manage escalated customer inquiries and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Contribute innovative ideas and motivation during sales meetings.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for developing others and helping professionals achieve leadership success.
• Proven background in sales (insurance industry experience preferred) with a track record of achieving and exceeding goals.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in coaching, mentoring, or training, with a passion for leadership development.
• Positive, energetic, and growth-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with training tools and CRM systems is a plus.
• Willingness to learn the insurance industry and obtain the necessary state license(s).
• Ability to clearly explain complex concepts (such as insurance programs).
• Customer service experience is a strong advantage.

Job Type: Full-time - Independent Contractor

Pay: $85,000 - $100,000 per year
