Seeks appropriate assistance and uses clinic resources to enhance clinical decision making. Prepares patients for examinations. Obtains health history information, takes accurate vital signs, and reviews medications. Documents plan of care. Administers treatments and performs diagnostic testing as ordered by the physician. Administers injections and medications. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment.Job Duties and Responsibilities1. Assists provider in all aspects of medical care, treatments and procedures, diagnostic and laboratory testing following established policies, procedures, and regulations.2. Triage for appropriate level of care.3. Assists in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient’s physical condition.4. Providers support to orientation and training of staff and students.5.
