Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting

Tampa, FL | Primarily Onsite

Compensation: $140K–$150K base + 15% target bonus

A large, established organization is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting to join its growing finance organization. This is a broad accounting leadership role combining corporate accounting, financial reporting, technical accounting, and public-company reporting exposure .

The ideal candidate is a CPA with a strong corporate accounting foundation who has led close and reporting processes, handled complex accounting matters, and developed accounting teams within a large or public-company environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead corporate accounting and financial reporting activities

- Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes

- Support consolidated financial statements and management reporting

- Research and address complex technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP

- Support SEC and public-company reporting requirements

- Maintain and strengthen SOX compliance and internal controls

- Partner with external auditors and internal stakeholders

- Drive accounting and reporting process improvements

- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members

- Partner with senior leadership on accounting and financial reporting matters

What We're Looking For

- CPA required

- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience

- Strong corporate accounting and financial reporting background

- Experience with month-end close, consolidations, and financial statements

- Strong technical accounting and U.S. GAAP knowledge

- Meaningful SEC/public-company reporting exposure

- SOX/internal controls experience

- External audit experience

- 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or significant project leadership experience

Strong Pluses

- Big 4 or public accounting experience

- 10-K and 10-Q reporting exposure

- Experience within a large, complex corporate environment

- Regulatory or utility accounting experience
