Systems EngineerWe're looking for a Systems Engineer to join a team responsible for supporting critical safety system deployments across our Robotics and Fulfillment Center environments. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, and operational excellence, helping to execute system upgrades and enhancements that directly impact large-scale robotics operations.This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy working in complex technical environments, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and managing system changes across multiple sites. You'll collaborate with Project Managers, Operations teams, and Engineering partners to ensure smooth deployments with minimal disruption to business operations.What You'll Be DoingSupport the deployment, upgrade, and validation of critical safety systems across fulfillment and robotics facilities.Coordinate Maintenance Change Management (MCM) activities for system enhancements and infrastructure upgrades.Partner with site leadership and operations teams to ensure deployment readiness and training compliance.Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to plan and execute upgrades during scheduled downtime windows.Manage multiple deployment projects and site activities simultaneously.Monitor system performance during implementation and provide troubleshooting support as needed.Communicate project updates, risks, and mitigation plans to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Document deployment activities, change management processes, and implementation outcomes.Help drive operational excellence by ensuring changes are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with established procedures.Required Qualifications3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Technical Operations, Infrastructure Support, Robotics Support, or a related technical field.Working knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting.Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and common networking protocols.Experience with AWS services and cloud-based infrastructure.Scripting experience utilizing Shell, Bash, or similar automation tools.Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.Experience working in complex operational, industrial, or large-scale technical environments.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting robotics, automation, warehouse, or fulfillment center technologies.Knowledge of change management processes and deployment methodologies.Experience coordinating technical deployments across multiple locations.Familiarity with AWS Robotics environments, FAST/UP, or similar upgrade programs.Understanding of safety-critical systems and operational compliance requirements.Experience performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting in production environments.Technical SkillsAWS FundamentalsLinux AdministrationTCP/IP NetworkingShell/Bash ScriptingSystems TroubleshootingChange ManagementRoot Cause AnalysisCross-Functional CollaborationOperational Readiness & Deployment SupportWhy Join This Team?Work on large-scale systems supporting Robotics operations.Gain exposure to networking, Linux, automation, and deployment management.Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and operations teams across multiple sites.Play a critical role in delivering infrastructure improvements that impact safety and operational performance.Fully remote opportunity with high visibility and meaningful technical ownership.Top Must-Haves:3+ years of technical engineering experienceLinux administration/troubleshooting skillsNetworking fundamentals (TCP/IP)AWS knowledgeScripting experience (Shell/Bash or similar)This role is ideal for a Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Technical Operations Engineer, or DevOps-minded professional looking to support enterprise-scale deployments in a fast-paced environment.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
