Med Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) - Per Diem

We are seeking a qualified Med Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical telemetry unit and must be willing to float to various departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and overall health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Schedule

This is a per diem position with shifts scheduled from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Completion of Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
• Basic Pharmacology and Rhythm Interpretation certification.
• Recent experience in a Med Surg or Telemetry setting is preferred.
• Mandatory compliance with health screening requirements including drug screening and immunizations.
