Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the country.

This state-of-the-art Adult Emergency Department manages 100,000+ visits annually and serves as the region's only Level I Trauma Center . Nurses will care for a diverse patient population ranging from medical emergencies and trauma cases to critically ill patients requiring rapid intervention.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform emergency assessments and triage
• Manage critically ill and injured patients
• Provide trauma and emergency care interventions
• Monitor telemetry patients
• Administer medications and emergency treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary emergency care teams
• Assist with ED boarder patients when needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements

Required Experience

✅ Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience

✅ Previous Travel ER Experience Required

✅ Telemetry Experience Required

First-time travelers will not be considered

✅ Certifications Required

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

License Requirement

• Active New York RN License ONLY
