Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A growing 503A compounding pharmacy in Tempe, AZ is seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with active and clear California (CA) and Arizona (AZ) pharmacist licenses. This unique opportunity is ideal for pharmacists looking to expand their expertise in pharmacy operations and non-sterile compounding within a supportive environment. Training is provided for newer pharmacists to develop skills in both pharmacy management and compounding.

Location:

• Tempe, AZ

Schedule:

• Full Time, 32 hours per week (Monday-Thursday)
• Shift options available 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure workflow efficiency, productivity, and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Supervise and mentor pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and ongoing training
• Review, verify, and approve prescriptions for accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and regulatory compliance
• Ensure adherence to Board of Pharmacy regulations, company policies, and quality standards
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to maintain smooth pharmacy operations
• Collaborate with leadership on operational improvements and maintaining high standards of patient care
• Participate in non-sterile compounding activities (training provided)

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist licenses in CA and AZ (essential)
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience; mail order, long-term care, or 503A pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience with non-sterile compounding preferred but not required
• Pharmacy management experience is a plus
• Ability to work full-time
