Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Mid-shift, Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (10-hour shifts with rotating day off). Call required 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. Two weekend shifts per contract.

Highlights:

• Work in a 14-room operating room department with diverse surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, neurology, vascular, and urology
• Exposure to advanced surgical technology including da Vinci robotic systems, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmologic cases
• Minimal call requirements with predictable mid-shift schedule
• Epic charting system experience utilized
• 91-day travel assignment in East Texas
• 36 hours of paid orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of application)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1.5-2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Required experience in orthopedic, general, neurological, vascular, and urologic surgical procedures
• Epic charting system experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Must reside outside specified county restrictions for this assignment
