Key responsibilities include continuously improving the design, quality, and reuse of the solution and delivering technology enablers that improve development efficiencies for the solution. Within the SDLC Software Delivery Lifecycle program, this role leads portfolio product delivery strategy and execution for enterprise software delivery capabilities, ensuring the right investments, operating model, governance, and prioritization are in place to improve how internal technical users build, test, and deliver software at scale.We are seeking a highly accomplished Agentic AI Framework & Harness Principal Engineer to define and drive the architecture, engineering standards, and technical roadmap for reusable agent frameworks and harness capabilities embedded across the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC). This role will shape how engineering teams design, compose, test, and operationalize agentic workflows through robust framework abstractions, deterministic execution patterns, and enterprise-grade developer tooling.This role requires deep technical leadership in agent orchestration, memory patterns, policy hooks, tool calling, planning loops, simulator harnesses, deterministic workflow design, eval integration, and SDK, API, and CLI design. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on engineering depth, platform design expertise, and a track record of building reusable framework capabilities that improve correctness, composability, governance, testability, and developer productivity for agentic systems in production.Responsibilities:Develops the engineering approach for the entire program/portfolio solution and works with Architecture, to develop/analyze/deliver the implementation of technical enablersLeads the planning, definition, and design of the complex features which span multiple teams and explore solution alternativesCreates ideas on designing complex technology and solution development approachesLeads the technical oversight for teams in solution development including design reviews and code within own domainDefines the technology tool stack for the solution within ranged of internally approved and supported technologiesExplores state-of-the-art technologies to improve development efficiencies, quality of test/QA coverage, and release managementLeads and is responsible for the end-to-end test strategy/creation/adherence, and the integration between teams for a program/portfolio solutionImprove the experience for our developers, making it easier to deliver industry-leading solutions, while managing work efficiently and with the right controlsAdvance our technology platforms integration and automationRequired Qualifications:15+ years of engineering experience with deep technical leadership in enterprise software platforms, developer tooling, or AI-enabled engineering systemsDemonstrated ownership of architecture, standards, and engineering direction for shared platforms used across multiple delivery teams or lines of businessExperience engineering solutions in highly regulated environments with strong SDLC, risk, audit, and control requirementsAbility to influence senior technology leaders, platform teams, and risk partners through clear technical strategy, architecture guidance, and engineering standardsAgent Frameworks, Orchestration & Execution Design:Deep expertise in designing reusable agent orchestration frameworks, including execution models, control flow patterns, state handling, and composition strategies for multi-step and tool-augmented workflowsStrong command of memory patterns, including short-term and long-term context strategies, state persistence, retrieval interfaces, and mechanisms for safe and relevant memory use across agent lifecyclesProven ability to implement policy hooks and runtime interception points that enforce governance, validation, safety, observability, and enterprise controls throughout agent executionExperience engineering robust tool calling abstractions, interface contracts, and execution patterns that enable reliable integration with enterprise systems, services, and developer toolsHands-on knowledge of planning loops and deterministic workflow design that balance flexibility with predictability, traceability, and supportability across enterprise agentic use casesHarnesses, Simulation & Evaluation Integration:Experience building simulator harnesses and execution testbeds that
