Lead Caregiver – Full-Time In-Home Senior Care

Home Instead is hiring an experienced, dependable Lead Caregiver to provide in-home care throughout Loudoun, Fauquier, Prince William and Northern Fairfax Counties. This full-time mobile position is ideal for a compassionate caregiver, CNA or PCA who can confidently step into different client situations and serve as a trusted connection between clients, families, caregivers and our office team.

This is not a fixed-location or single-client assignment. Lead Caregivers help cover priority shifts throughout our service area. Travel time between assigned client shifts is paid.

What You’ll Do

• Provide compassionate companionship and in-home support
• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, toileting and other personal-care needs
• Support mobility and safe transfers
• Prepare meals and assist with errands and light housekeeping
• Follow each client’s individualized care plan
• Cover open and priority shifts throughout our service area
• Help welcome caregivers during introductions to new clients
• Communicate important updates to families and the Home Instead office
• Respond calmly and professionally when client needs or schedules change

Schedule and Service Area

• Full-time position with up to 40 hours per week
• Workdays may be scheduled in 8-, 10-, 12- or 14-hour blocks
• Assignments may be located in Loudoun, Fauquier, Prince William or Northern Fairfax County
• Paid travel time is provided between assigned client shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to travel within our service area (paid travel)
• Comfortable working with male and female clients, pets, and smokers
• Able to pass background and drug screening
• Working smartphone
• Ready to trade unreliable shifts for stability and purpose

Preferred, Not Required

• Current CNA or PCA certification
• Previous in-home care or senior-care experience
