Clinical Leadership Supervise and support nursing staff throughout the assigned shift. Ensure quality resident care is delivered in accordance with care plans and clinical standards. Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges. Complete incident, accident, and clinical reports accurately and promptly. Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Help implement and maintain nursing policies, procedures, and best practices. Support regulatory compliance with federal, state, and facility guidelines. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and state survey readiness. Coordinate resident care with rehabilitation, dietary, social services, and other departments. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Ensure resident health information remains confidential and secure. Report concerns regarding resident safety, compliance, or privacy. Promote adherence to facility policies and professional nursing standards. Team Development Participate in care plan and interdisciplinary team meetings. Mentor and support nursing staff to promote clinical excellence. Foster a respectful, collaborative, and positive work environment. Qualifications Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
