With a 7.25-hour workday, plus a 30-minute duty-free lunch, your schedule runs from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, supporting a manageable caseload with a maximum of 28 students.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential
• Previous experience working in elementary special education, ideally in a backfill role
• Familiarity with split-site assignments and flexible teaching environments
• Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate across teams and sites
• Commitment to individualized instruction and inclusive classroom practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, customized instruction to elementary students with special needs
• Maintain accurate records, including IEP documentation, progress reports, and communications
• Adapt curriculum materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to create a supportive educational environment
• Foster positive relationships while supporting student growth and independence
• Manage a caseload of up to 28 students across two elementary sites
