Position Overview: Lewis Bakeries located in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers to provide commercial vehicle operations through the tri-state area. About Lewis Bakeries: Lewis Bakeries is a family owned and operated company that was started by three brothers in 1925 in Anna, Illinois. Lewis primarily bakes loaf bread, buns and rolls under branded products such as Bunny Bread, Lewis Bake Shop, Healthy Life, as well as other brands. Bakery facilities are located in LaPorte, Ft. Wayne, Vincennes, and Evansville, Indiana, and Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Our heritage has been one of quality and reliability since 1925. Responsibilities: * Operate company owned and leased trucks over 4 ton to facilitate shipping/receiving operations * Operate trucks for the delivery and unloading of bakery product * Perform required pre/post maintenance checks and provide required reports * Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations * Maintain all required certifications required by DOT * Comply with safety policies, procedures and DOT regulations * Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition * Perform other duties as needed to support and improve overall department operations. * #lbtransportation
