Assistant to Students - North Campus

Provides administrative support to the Student Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church – North Campus (“PBC-NC”).Responsibilities:Provide administrative assistance, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, ordering and maintaining office supplies, managing calendars, and monitoring Students email accountGreet students and guests in person and over the phone and direct them appropriatelyUnderstand fully the PBC church programming software to enter events and detailsSubmit check requests, purchase orders, contract requests and other financial related items and ensure compliance with PBC policiesRespond to requests and inquiries from students, staff, LifeGroup leaders, and parentsAssign volunteers for events as requestedAssist with monitoring budget, tracking invoices, researching prices and securing vendors for projects and eventsAssist with the preparation for Students eventsManage event registrations and provide recruitment updatesOversee scholarships for Student eventsTrack attendance and decisions for ChristAssist with the planning and execution of Guys and Girls events, including Freedom WeekendCoordinate with appropriate staff for the purpose of organizing ministry eventsEnsure volunteer screening processes are followedOther duties as assignedRequirements:Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC-NCSome college, college degree preferredPrior experience in an administrative role preferredIntermediate skills in Microsoft Office products, Google Suite, and CanvaExcellent planning and organizational skillsTeam playerStrong communication skills, both written and oralAbility to work with a high level of confidentialityAbility to work a Monday – Friday schedule with occasional Sundays and PBC eventsAble to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time and to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs and be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 20 pounds without assistance #J-18808-Ljbffr Prestonwood Baptist Church
