Job Description
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 4x9-Hour
Hours per Shift: 9 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in PET/CT, SPECT, and IV starting and maintaining.
License: CNMT or ARRT(N), BLS required
Certifications: CNMT, NMTCB, PET
Must-Have: Required experience in nuclear medicine procedures and charting systems.


Description:
Candidates must have housing secured before submission.
Maximum of 10 approved time off days during the contract.
Request for time off is not allowed during specified blackout periods.
This role is for a level 3 trauma regional facility.
The position will focus on the delivery of PET/CT and SPECT services.
Candidates must be flexible as hours and schedule may change based on staffing needs.
No weekend or floating requirements.
Experience is required in various nuclear medicine procedures, including PET scan and HIDA scan.
The ability to handle radioactive materials is necessary.
Charting system experience with electronic health records is required.
Daily patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.
The unit collaborates with various support services such as respiratory services and pharmacy.
Completion of facility-specific training modules is required in the first week of assignment.
Candidates must check their email regularly for updates and communication from unit leaders.
