Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to the care and improvement of human life, providing high-quality respiratory care in an acute-care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, and ventilator management.
- Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, arterial line insertion, and assist with bedside bronchoscopy.
- Participate in daily interdisciplinary team rounding and collaborate closely with nursing and other disciplines to enhance patient care.
- Utilize cutting-edge equipment, including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must hold a valid Respiratory Therapist license.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP.
- Experience in Critical Care and Emergency Care settings is necessary.
